Mouse Cottage sits high on a hillside, facing due south in the middle of the Strathtay golf course. This is no ordinary golf course as the land was originally part of the Tillipowry Estate. The land rolls gently, circled by bracken covered hills and woodland (vivid blue in May when the bluebells bloom) with the most delightful grove of deciduous trees just west of the cottage. Deer, pheasants, hares, partridges, bunnies and owls populate it.
Mouse Cottage is an old cottage built in 1850 although entirely renovated in 2018 it retains all its original, quirky features and charm. It is a short walk to the excellent local shop as well as the café/Chocolatier, the local hotel and the Inn, the local pub where you can sit outside by the spectacular river Tay.
